Bill iZi is an invoicing app published by Studios Raxoon Inc. ("Raxoon Studios", "we"). This policy describes what data is processed when you use Bill iZi on an iPhone, an iPad or an Android device.
The honest summary: your invoices, clients and businesses stay on your device. No account, no Raxoon server. We measure app usage — which screens are opened, which buttons are tapped — and we receive crash reports, without ever seeing the contents of your documents. Advertising, present only in the free version, is the only collection serving a commercial purpose, and it disappears with the ad-free option.
1. Your business data stays on your device
- No account: Bill iZi works with no sign-up, no email address, no password.
- Your business data (businesses, clients, products, taxes, invoices, numbering, templates, generated PDFs) is stored locally, in a file that belongs to the app. We have no access to it, and it never travels through any server of ours.
- It is included in your device backups if you have them enabled: iCloud or computer backup on iOS and iPadOS, Google automatic backup on Android. Those copies belong to your Apple or Google account, which encrypts them; we have no access to them.
- Exports (PDF, JSON) are produced on the device and shared only where you choose to send them.
- Uninstalling the app, or using "Erase data" in the More tab, removes this data from the device.
2. Address book access
Bill iZi can fill in a client or business record from a contact on your device. This access happens only when you tap "Import from a contact", and is limited to the contact you select.
- On Android, the system asks for the "Contacts" permission the moment you tap the button. You can decline it — the form stays fillable by hand — and revoke it at any time in your device settings.
- On iOS and iPadOS, no permission is needed: the contact picker runs outside the app, which only receives the contact you picked.
The values taken from the contact (name, phone, email, postal address, photo) prefill a form that you review and confirm. They are then stored locally, like the rest of your data. They are neither sent to our servers nor shared with any third party.
3. Usage measurement and crash reports
- Firebase Analytics (Google): the app records technical events — screen opened, button tapped, purchase completed — along with a pseudonymous installation identifier, the device model, the OS version, the language and the country. No invoice content, no client name and no amount is ever transmitted.
- Firebase Crashlytics (Google), on iOS and iPadOS only: when the app crashes, the technical state of the app at that moment.
- This data is used only to fix and improve the app. It is neither sold nor used to identify you personally. It is processed by Google as our processor: firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
4. Advertising (free version only)
The free version displays a banner ad served by Start.io (Start.io Inc.), our ad network.
- With your consent — Apple's "Allow app to track" prompt (App Tracking Transparency) on iPhone and iPad, Google's consent form shown at launch on Android — Start.io may use your device's advertising identifier (IDFA or Android advertising ID) to serve personalised ads.
- Without your consent: the banner is still displayed but the ads are not personalised, and the advertising identifier is not used.
- In both cases, Start.io may process technical data (IP address, device model, OS, language, country, ad interactions) under its own policy: start.io/policy/privacy-policy-site-services.
- You can change your mind at any time: iOS and iPadOS › Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking; Android › Settings › Google › Ads. The app reads that choice again at every launch.
The "Remove ads" purchase or a support subscription removes the banner for good — and with it every call to the ad network.
5. Purchases and subscriptions
In-app purchases (the one-time "Remove ads" purchase, the monthly and yearly subscriptions) are handled entirely by Apple through your App Store account on iPhone and iPad, and by Google through your Google Play account on Android. We never receive or store your payment details. Your purchase is validated on the device, by StoreKit or by the Google Play Billing library, with no server of ours involved.
6. Your choices and your rights
- Withdraw advertising consent: iOS and iPadOS › Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking › Bill iZi; Android › Settings › Google › Ads.
- Withdraw address book access (Android): Settings › Apps › Bill iZi › Permissions › Contacts. On iOS and iPadOS, the app never holds that access.
- Delete your data: "Erase data" in the More tab, or uninstall the app. Remember to delete your device backup too if you keep one.
- Export your data: the app's JSON export hands you a complete copy of your data at any time.
- Depending on where you live (GDPR in Europe, Law 25 in Quebec), you have rights of access, rectification and erasure. For advertising data, exercise them with Start.io; for usage measurement and crash reports, write to contact+izibill@raxoon.com; your invoicing data is on your device and nowhere else.
7. Children
Bill iZi is a professional tool. It is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect any data concerning them.
8. Changes
Any change to this policy will be published on this page along with its update date. A substantial change will be signalled inside the app.
