1. Who We Are

The Wakoon mobile application is published by Raxoon Studios. This policy explains what data is processed when you use Wakoon, why it is processed, and what your rights are.

2. In Summary

• Wakoon does not require an account and does not collect any personal data by itself.
• Your settings (mode, durations, brightness, pattern) remain solely on your device. We do not have access to them.
• Wakoon does not access your computer and does not install anything on it.
• The free version displays ads provided by a third-party partner (Unity Ads on iOS, Start.io on Android), which may collect identifiers and usage data. This is the only significant data collection associated with the app.
• You can remove the ads via an in-app purchase.

3. Data Processed

3.1 Data Stored Only on Your Device

Your preferences (selected mode, pause duration, vibration duration, brightness level, scrolling pattern, automatic rotation, surface size, ad-free period obtained by watching a video) are saved locally on your device. They are neither transmitted to nor viewable by us, and are deleted when the application is uninstalled.

3.2 Advertising — Unity Ads (iOS) and Start.io (Android)

The free version displays banner ads and, upon your explicit request, a rewarded video which, if you choose to watch it, removes ads for 24 hours. On iOS, these ads are provided by Unity Ads (Unity Technologies); on Android, by Start.io. Each acts as an independent data controller for the data it collects.

Advertising Tracking (App Tracking Transparency). On iOS, in the European Union / EEA, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, or when the region cannot be determined, ads are contextual and Apple's tracking prompt is not shown. Elsewhere, the prompt may appear after the app's welcome screens; the advertising identifier (IDFA) is used to personalize ads only if you allow it. Unity Ads may process IP address and device, usage and diagnostic information under its policy. Once a purchase that removes ads is recognized, no advertising SDK is started. You can change your mind at any time in Settings ▸ Privacy & Security ▸ Tracking.

3.3 In-App Purchases

Purchases (ad removal, support subscriptions) are processed exclusively by Apple. We do not receive or store your payment information. Apple provides us with aggregated and anonymous sales statistics. See Apple's Privacy Policy: apple.com/legal/privacy.

3.4 What We Do Not Do

Wakoon does not access your contacts, photos, microphone, camera, precise location, or your history. No data is sent to a Raxoon Studios server — we do not operate any servers for this application.

4. Legal Bases (GDPR)

• App functionality and local storage of settings: performance of a service / legitimate interest.
• Personalized advertising and tracking: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) — via the ATT prompt.
• Non-personalized advertising, security, and fraud prevention: legitimate interest.
• In-app purchases: performance of a contract.

5. Data Recipients

• Unity Technologies (Unity Ads) — advertising network on iOS (see §3.2).
• Start.io — advertising network on Android (see §3.2).
• Apple — app distribution and purchase processing.

We do not sell your data.

6. Transfers Outside the European Union

Our partners may process data outside the EU, particularly in the United States. These transfers are governed by the mechanisms provided for by the GDPR (Standard Contractual Clauses or an applicable adequacy decision). See the respective policies of Unity Ads (iOS), Start.io (Android) and Apple.

7. Data Retention Period

Data saved on your device remains there until you delete it (by uninstalling the app). The retention periods applied by Unity Ads (iOS), Start.io (Android) and Apple are described in their respective policies.

8. Your Rights

In accordance with the GDPR, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, and data portability, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time. As we do not hold any data that can identify you, we are generally unable to retrieve data concerning you. For data processed by Unity Ads or Start.io, please contact them directly through their privacy policy (links in §3.2).

You can at any time:

• disable advertising tracking (iOS Settings ▸ Privacy & Security ▸ Tracking);
• permanently remove ads via the dedicated in-app purchase;
• uninstall the application, which erases all local data.

9. Children

Wakoon is not intended for children and we do not knowingly collect their data. The minimum recommended age is in accordance with the Age Rating declared in App Store Connect.

10. Security

As data remains local to your device, its security depends on your device's security (passcode, iOS encryption). Network exchanges related to advertising use encrypted connections (HTTPS).

11. Changes to This Policy

This policy may evolve, particularly if the app's features change. The last update date is shown at the top of the page. In the event of a substantial change, we will inform you within the application.
